George Stanley Jr is an artist from Newport News, Va. George has been interested in art at an early age. He has been designing for many years in Virginia. George has attended Thomas Nelson Community College were he learned about illustration and design. Later, moving to Minneapolis, Minnesota, he attended MCAD (Minnesota College of Art and Design). Also, he has taken different classes like How to write a Children's book, taught by Sharon St Germain. How to create a comic book by Tommy Orrico. George has also worked with one of his favorite artist Ricardo Levins Morales who george worked for as a screen printer and sometime artist. George has been seen on a local TV show on CW27 in Virginia called Here and Now hosted by Kafi Rouse. George has appeared on the radio show Write on Radio on KFAI 90.3 the program was 100 year Anniversary of Langston Hughes. George has designed many different things for Comedian Cocoa Brown who is one of the stars on Tyler Perry's Movie "The Single Mother's Club" and the sitcom "For better or for Worst"
